Bath Community Hospital is Hiring a Behavioral Health Counselor Near Hot Springs, VA
Bath Community Hospital is a patient-focused small hospital in rural Virginia that offers excellent working conditions, a team environment, and opportunities for professional development. The Behavioral Health Counselor will have the primary responsibility of a case load of clients, have ability to provide voluntary pre-screenings, maintain documentation, provide mental health services to children, adolescents and adults.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide diagnostic, evaluations, psychotherapy, prevention, consultation, voluntary committals, and education to clients
- Conducts intake interviews, including initial diagnosis and disposition. Requests related information from collateral sources
- Performs case management and crisis intervention when needed. Maintains complete progress notes; bills and documents all contacts with clients, may make home visits. Participates in ongoing education.
- Collaborates and consults with resources as needed to perform the best outcome for client/family
REQUIREMENTS
- Masters degree (required)
- Valid LPC or LCSW license in Virginia (required)
- Time will be split between Covington, Millboro, Hot Springs, and Telehealth
